When an Australian Horse Racing journalist wanted a cameraman in Hong Kong to record an interview with legendary Horse Trainer David Hayes, he chose me and I chose our Varicam LT camera.
We had to shoot in 4k (news story style) because the interview was for a giant screen that would be set up on Oaks Day, the interview was conducted via facetime (as is the norm for overseas shoots these days) and the footage was sent to Australia the same day via FTP.
It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with one of horse racings legendary breeders and trainers.
